CREDIT REPORT

If you have a current credit report we can use it to help advise you on how to clean up your credit and/or help raise your credit scores. HANDS can also pull a tri-merge credit report for a charge of $27.00 for an individual and $42.00 for a married couple.

Money is non-refundable.

Having good credit is important to be able to get the following:

Housing - rental or homeownership
Any type of loans - mortgage, auto, personal and etc
To get utilities in your name
To get a credit card
To get store credit
Some jobs request good credit

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Good credit is a necessity
Do not over extend
Make your payment on time
Cleaning up your credit will not happen overnight

WHAT IS ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT?

Personal information – including your name, social security number, addresses past & present and employers past & present.

Seven years of payment history on credit accounts

Public records – including judgments, bankruptcies, tax liens, foreclosures, repossessions, etc

Inquires for credit in the past 90 days

You can also put Consumer statement (up to 100 words)

Accounts remain on your credit file for seven years after the date paid or the date last active. Bankruptcies stay on for 10 years. Judgements, federal liens and other court ordered records remain until paid.
